2. Any Christmas decorations up yet? All of them.
3. What are you asking for for Christmas? Gift cards, my favorite perfume I am almost out of.
4.What do you usually do on Christmas Eve? We go to my parents and have Christmas dinner and open gifts with my side of the family.
5. What do you usually do on Christmas Day? Have a nice breakfast and then just the four of us open the gifts to each other and some from my parents as well. Then we just relax, play with the kids and usually get together at the Huffs with some extended relatives and friends to play games, but this year the Huff's will be gone, so don't know what we will do.
6. Do you own any Christmas clothes or jewelry? A couple of pretty Christmas pins, a watch and some of the Christmas plaid skirts.
7. Do you use white or colored Christmas lights? All white.
8. Do you bake Christmas cookies? Sometimes.
9. Do you buy Christmas presents for your whole family? We buy for both sets of parents, one of Steve's sisters and then draw names between my side of the family.
10. How many friends do you buy presents for? A few
11. Is there a Santa Claus? No, not in a real one that comes down the chimney and delivers gifts to all the good little boys and girls. We all play Santa if we buy gifts for others. I never believed in Santa and have told my kids that Santa is just pretend as well.
12. Favorite Christmas Carol? I love all kinds of Christmas music. One of my favorits is "Mary Did You Know".
13. Would you rather it be a white Christmas, or a warm Christmas? I'd rather it just be a really beautiful, slightly cool day with the windows open.
14. Was last year a good christmas? I have never had a bad Christmas!
15. Which Christmas color do you like better? All the reds.
16. Do you get a real Christmas tree, or is it artificial? The two big one's are both 9ft pre-lits that I think look very real. I love them. The little one's are just cheap Wal-Mart types that look cute when decorated.
17. When you get older, will you get a real or artificial tree? Steve and I did the real one's for a couple years before the kids came along. They just make such a huge mess and can be quite expensive, especially if you want the tall one's to fill the space for high ceilings. So as of now, we enjoy the pre-lit one's.
18. Do you hang stockings? Yes - all four stockings get filled up. Steve and I do things for each other that we do privately and the kids open theirs Christmas morning.
19. When opening presents, does your family all open them at the same time? My family and our immediate family do one at a time.
20. What is usually in your stocking? A variety of things
21. Do you get up early on Christmas day? When the kids wake up, we get up, so yes that is usually early.
22. Does your family eat breakfast before or after opening presents? Before.
23. Do you have a favorite ornament you hang on the tree? I have several favorites.
24. What Christmas movie do you like to watch the most? Steve and Bryce started the tradition last year of watching the Grinch stole Christmas. They watched it last night and I get so cracked up at Jim Carey, I usually am watching it with them as I am doing things around the house. Very funny and cute movie.
25. What do you like better, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? I don't like one more than the other. Knowing that on both days I am with the people I love the most is the best Christmas gift I can receive.
Here are a few pictures.................
