Amy attended HSBC while I was in high school. She was just one of those people that I always looked up to and admired. She had a great personality, a wonderful spirit, was so pretty and sweet and always took the time to talk to a little high schooler, even though she was in college and way beyond my youthful actions.
Amy's husband did his student teaching in my English class while I was in high school and he was a great teacher. They were two people that, when they started dating, I thought they made a great couple.
Amy and I got back in touch with each other in the blogging world and I was so happy to be able to keep up on her world. We have conversed about a few things off line that I went to her for, because I respected her opinion and also have the upmost confidence in her walk with God.
Amy has already gone through so many things physically and she is now in another fight for her health. Amy's blogs, her words, and her devotionals have really touched me and she seems to write them just when I need them. I now want to do my part in reaching out to her as she has done for me.
Please pray that the Lord will touch her body, her eyes and keep her surrounded by his loving arms and give her peace, no matter what happens.

You, William and I all had the same idea - I didn't see either one of yours until after I had done a blog about Amy too - later when I was looking at the alumni site I found yours aways down. This is great since the more people praying for her the better!
Oh Charlene, you more than most of us, know what it means to be held in the hands of the Father as He carries you through adversity. Many thanks for this post. I really appreciate all your thoughts...you are an inspiration to me, as are David and Amy.
