Five years ago today we started an amazing journey and one I wouldn't want to do again, but also one I wouldn't trade for anything. One of a lot of ups and some downs. We have learned so much and we are so thankful and blessed at how far Connor has come.
You all have read all about Connor through these last five years, so I will not go into any of it again, but here are a few pictures. First from his first couple months in the hospital..........

then his first bath out of the hospital was in Aunt Mary's big sink in her laundry room......

and now we have a handsome and sweet as can be and getting bigger by the moment little boy, who has not only stolen his Daddy, Mommy and brother's heart, but lots of other people's as well.

To finish it off, here is the link to watch the video his Aunt Mary took so much time in making that covers his first few years.

I cannot believe it has been 5 years ago already! He is such an amazing little boy!!! Happy Birthday, Connor!
Happy Birthday to a wonderful little boy. I've read about everything that Connor has had to go through in his life and I'm reminded of this quote by Booker T Washington. "Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome"
Charlene, your boy is an inspiration

Hi, Charlene,
Thanks for sharing pictures of your adorable family. I've been following a string of blogs to find you. Rhoda Line first told me about Conner's story when our little girl was diagnosed with myelomeningocele/hydrocephalus, etc. She also gave me contact information which I haven't been able to find! Anyway, I think I finally found the right person...at least his age, your location are right and I got to your blog through your sister's, I think! :) So I just wanted to invite you to see the little one that Rhoda talked to you about months ago. She's doing pretty well considering all that she's dealing with. I'll be watching your blog as Conner grows and leads the way for us!
