Bryce on his way....to his first day of Kindergarten.

Steve and I got up plenty early this morning to make sure we had lots of time to get ready and get the two kids ready. After taking Connor to Mary's, to be watched by a babysitter along with Ethan and Devin, we headed to Bryce's Kindergarten classroom.
Bryce looked so cute in his little uniform with his Superman backpack and lunchbox. He was very excited and very ready to start school.
He has 7 girls and 15 boys in his class and Mrs. Deckard, and her Mom that helps her, have got a full class to teach this year.
Tara (Predmore) Hydes and I are the room mothers and have already had two other Mom's offer to help in any way they can.

We got to the classroom and it was already packed with parents, kids and some Grandparents. After finding where their little bookbags were to be hung and their lunchboxes were to be placed, they found their seats and started to either get to know some of the classmates that they weren't as familiar with as other's, or had dozens of pictures and video being taken of them.
After we each left our kids there, many headed to Cracker Barrell for breakfast and took up a big section of the restaurant. Then because of it only being a half day, we were back to pick up the kids by 11:30am. Bryce loved it and said he already knew everything, so it was easy. (Boy, I know that will change in the future, but for now, he loves it)
Tomorrow will be a bigger test, because it will be the first time he has had to stay at someplace for six hours , other than to just play non-stop at his cousins or Grandma and Papa's place.
