A perfect way to celebrate your anniversary

Tuesday night on our 8th anniversary, Steve and I went out on our boat, just the two of us for the first time. We put our boat in at a park in Hobe Sound and took our time heading down the intracoastal toward Jupiter. We pulled up at Jetty's, a restaurant across from the Jupiter lighthouse. After tying up the boat, we were seated out on the deck right by the water and had a very yummy and relaxing dinner.
It was so neat to think that after dinner, instead of going and getting in our van or truck and heading back the same way we always do on the road that we would be getting in our own boat and heading back that way. By the time we left it was just dusk and it was a gorgeous night. There was some heat lightening flashing around the perimeter of the sky with nothing but stars directly overhead. We went on a little ride under the bridges there in Jupiter and with all the lights of the restaurants, bridges and houses shining on the water, it was so pretty. We took our time going back and it gives you a completely different perpespective when it is just the two of you out there, in the dark with only seeing a fishing boat or two every once in awhile. It was just beautiful.
It was a very romantic way to spend an anniversary and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
