Connor's 4th birthday celebration!!

You all already know all about Connor, what he has been through, how far he has come, and if you don't, just look back at my older blogs and you can read all about him, us and the journey we have been on.
In some ways I can't believe Connor is 4, in other ways at times, it seems like many more years have passed, but no matter what, I wouldn't trade one minute of the good or bad times because we have learned so much, seen God work in so many ways and we feel continously blessed by our little guy. I still get words of encouragment from friends and family, even today (thank you Tracy) and know that God still uses Connor to show people that miracles are still performed even today.
Connor turned 4 on July 28th, but several of the family members were away at that time so we had to postpone it a little. A couple Sundays ago are whole family plus a few extended family members of the Great Uncle, Great Aunts and cousin kind, all met at the Huffs to celebrate Connors birthday.
Connor LOVES fans!!! He loves anything that goes in circles, but he really likes fans. He gets very excited anytime he sees a fan going around, so I tried to come up with something along that line. I just thought I would share a few pictures with you and even a couple short video's. Connor has finally started to talk and is getting ready to start speech therapy to help him along in that area. He tries so hard to mimic any words you are trying to get him to say. So there is a video at the end showing off a few of his words.(thanks Mary for walking me through the whole posting video process!)

I tried to do a type of fan (pinwheel) cake. You can see some of the decorations in the background. Here is my special boy and his Mommy with his cake.
