A blog about the first day of school..first Bryce....

Last Monday was a morning of getting up bright and early and packing backpacks and lunch boxes. I just kept thinking, what happened to the summer? Bryce was very happy and excited and ready to go back to school, especially now that he was a big kid and in the 1st grade! He said at one point that he couldn't wait to see the "little Kindergartners". I thought that was amusing, like he was so much bigger now.
So we headed to HSCA first and then Connor's school second and I snapped a few pictures along the way.

Bryce decided at this very moment that Lemurs are his favorite animal and has declared that ever since. He never knew anything about Lemurs, but once he saw this on his desk, they instantly became his favorite animal...EVER!!
