National Eat With Your Children Day

Today was a day where parents, across the nation apparently, were encouraged to eat lunch with their children. So at 11:15am the whole academy and parents were invited to eat with the kids. You could either get your food at the cafeteria, or purchase and bring in your food. A lot of people decided to bring in food from Wendys, McDonalds, Tropical Smoothie, etc.
It was nice to be able to eat lunch with Bryce.

Afterwards they were supposed to go play at the playground. They played about a total of five minutes before the rain started to come down once again. It has been a very rainy day today. Bryce and Kaitlyn were excited to see me with my camera and asked if they could pose for a few pictures.
I used to play in this same tunnell and several other pieces of equipment on this same playground from the time I was in Kindergarten 28 years ago. WOW!!
Bryce wanted a picture "up high"....
and Kaitlyn followed suit.
