I got an interesting phone call and email from Bank of America tonight. Seems someone in Louiseville, Kentucky had a great day today, all at my expense (well, now at Bank of America's expense). They had a pizza from Pizza Hut, hooked up their cable and purchased a new phone from Sprint/Nextel---all on my credit card account that I have had opened since 2002. They guessed at the expiration date and that, and the fact that there has been no activity on this card for the past four years and purchases were being made in Kentucky vs Florida, all gave them reason to suspect some foul play and fraud.
Thank goodness they monitor this sort of stuff and they take the charges and make sure I am not responsible for them. Hope the person can't sleep tonight, but I am sure it probably won't bother them a bit, except for the fact that their fun has now been interupted by the closing of this particular account.
GRRRRRRRRRRRR!
