Our little family did manage to capture a few pictures in the living room or other various places in the house, as you will see below.
After dinner and the normal clean-up, we headed home for a quick nap, and then had to be back at church for an earlier than normal evening service, due to them deciding to extend the Journey to the Tomb one more night, because of getting rained out sooner than expected on Saturday night. We listened to a very good Easter musical, and the whole service I got to hold and love on Rob and Robyn Huff's sweet little baby Payton. Steve stayed on to do his part as a Roman Soldier and then to help with all the clean-up afterwards, and I took the kids home to get them to bed at their normal bedtime, and enjoyed a nice, quiet, relaxing evening of reading and eating a big bowl of popcorn.
All in all, it was a really nice and blessed day, and both services, as well as the Journey to the Tomb, not only reminded us, but also brought to life, the reason for this particular season.
I am so thankful for my husband, and have been really reminded of that recently, in a new way.
I feel very blessed with my little family. I wouldn't trade or change anything about it.
My two sweet, precious, special little boys.
Bryce was pretty excited about his Easter basket that was as tall as he was. He hasn't stopped talking about it yet.and some of the slightly "older help". My Mom and Aunt Cathy.
I am sure you will be able to see a lot more pictures, and maybe a video or two, soon on my sister, Mary Huff's blog.
Hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter!
