On to today...today we went to a place called Bathtub Reef Beach, named that due to a large area that is formed kind of like an oversized bathtub. I had never taken Connor to the beach without Steve, but today I took he and Bryce and we met Mary and her three oldest and our niece Jessica Hendershot, our cousin Sue Mydock and her four plus a friend of her oldest sons and Mary's SIL Robyn Huff.
Connor just plopped himself right down at waters edge and loved having the waves wash over his legs, over and over again. He didn't even seem to mind when it got in his face. Here is a video that his Aunt Mary took of him.
Connor was there with me for about an hour and a half so and then his Grandma (my Mom) came and got him to go play at her house for the next few hours. That way I could relax a little and Connor didn't get burned and completely worn out. The rest of the ten kids there had so much fun playing in the water and sand. Today there were fish everywhere. You could see these little brim fish, by the thousands, in every wave. There were pelicans, sea gulls and sandpipers flying and diving and getting their fill of the fish all around us. Here is one more video of Bryce and his cousin Kaitlyn playing at the beach today.
Bryce loves playing with all his cousins and by the time we were done, he was one worn out boy and his Mommy is tired too, but it was a very fun day.
