I think Connor was trying to figure out why he had to hold this backpack.
Once we got to Connors schoo, he stopped and looked around before heading inside and the look on his face made me think that he was thinking, "hmm, this place looks familiar but I just can't quite place it."
He has a new teacher this year, but the same teacher assistance as last year. I LOVE both his teacher and the assistant. This is Ms. Melissa the assistant. Her and Connor fell in love with each other last year and she was very anxious to see him again. He gets lots of love from Ms. Melissa. The thing I love about this picture is that Melissa had no idea that I was taking a picture, her smile was just this big because she was so happy to see him.
Connor was very content to be there this year and has been super happy both when I drop him off and pick him up! That makes me feel so much better and happy knowing that he is happy. He is getting ready to start both speech therapy and occupational therapy. I couldn't be happier with his school and the people I deal with at the school. They are caring, kind and helpful and the other best part is it is not even two minutes from my house. Could I ask for anything more? Connor is in school full days this year, from 8-1:45 and Bryce from 8-2:30, so I have five hours by myself, but that time flies!! So the school year is now in full swing and we are now back on a schedule and life goes on.
