What a fun and full Saturday. We started with the Easter Egg hunt with our MOMS group at Mary's. Each child could collect 12 eggs and they all seemed to have fun finding them (after I and one or two other people hid them all. It takes much longer to hide them, then for them to find them, that is for sure.)
After feeding the kids lunch and leaving Connor taking a nap with a sitter, Steve, Bryce and I then headed out on the boat with Mary, Michael and Kaitlyn on the most perfect of days. The water was perfect, the weather was perfect. Just gorgeous!! We pulled up to a sandbar, anchored and while the kids swam and used the back of the boat as a jumping board, the three adults enjoyed relaxing, taking a walk on the sandbar and just enjoying our surroundings.
After a few hours we headed back and got the boat back on the trailer and headed to the park for the kids to play for awhile. The three adults watching and still enjoying the beautiful weather.
We ended our Saturday with a nice meal with just Steve, I and the boys at Chili's. I am thrilled I can finally eat again without too much discomfort.
What a great way to spend a Saturday.
