Fun at the pool with my two favorite boys

This morning after Connor's therapy was over, the three of us pictured above, headed for my parents community pool and met Brenda and Jessica and one of her little friends and Sue Mydock and her four boys. It was an extremely hot day with no breeze, so the cool pool felt wonderful.
Connor has definitely gotten used to it now and enjoyed doing a little kicking and splashing and even did some investigating on the steps of the pool. He still has a healthy fear, which is good, because when he was let to walk around the perimeter of the pool, he wanted to throw a little tube into the pool, but stayed several feet away while he threw it.
Hopefully by next year we may be able to at least teach him how to swim to the side of the pool, should he fall in.
Needless to say, he wore himself out, because when we got home and I put him down for a nap, he rolled over, shut his eyes and was out.
Tonight, Brenda, Bryce and I headed to Target to get Bryce's school uniforms and school shoes and a couple school supplies for his backpack. He is one excited little boy about starting Kindergarten at "Michaels school" in about four weeks. I can tell you that he is going to look so cute in his little uniform with his backpack on and the smile that will be going along with it.
