A nice Saturday

A beautiful day out on the boat, minus kids this time....

Finally, a beautiful Saturday, without clouds or rain. The water was calm, and it was a perfect day to be out on the boat. For the first time, we took no kids, and Rick and Mary, and friends that were down visiting, Brent and Rochenda Crane, and Steve and I left around 10:30 in the morning and went on a nice long ride on the boat and then ended back up at the sandbar to hang out, talk, play a little football or Procadamia, or just relax and munch on lunch.
The time passed much too quickly, but we all enjoyed it very much.

then an evening out with friends for supper!

After going home and getting cleaned up, we left the kids in the hands of a babysitter, again, and headed to Jetty's in Jupiter with Brent, Rochenda and Rochenda's sister and husband, Angela and Jacob. It was a gorgeous night and we were seated within five minutes, right on the edge of the deck, near the water, across from the lighthouse. It was a perfect seat on a perfect night. Besides Steve and I, the rest had never been there and they all enjoyed it immensely and loved every bite of their food. Afterwards, we wandered out onto the dock and they had several good pictures taken with the lighthouse as a back drop.
Later, we made our way to a little ice cream shop in Tequesta, called Palm Beach Ice Cream. You can tell if a place is good, when the line is so long it is coming out the door and there is a constant stream of cars coming in. It is all handmade there and the ice cream was delicious. That is saying something from me, because I am quite picky with my ice cream.
We just sat outside and talked and laughed and enjoyed our delicious ice cream. It was a perfect way to end our fun day.
