Back to Therapeutic listening

We started Connor's therapeutic listening back up several weeks ago and it has gone so much better this time. As you will recall I started doing it with him last summer, but due to just wanting a summer where Connor could just be a little boy and I wasn't so tied down to the day to day grind of therapy after therapy and wanting to spend a lot of time with Bryce, I brought it to a halt.
This time around it is so much better. First of all Bryce is in school for 6 hours a day and I can spend more time devoted to just Connor, and the CD's the therapist chose are better so far and also Connor only has one therapy a week now, versus five before and he isn't so overwhelmed by being pushed in so many areas, and he is a bit older.
Connor for the most part is really enjoying the CD's this time. He still has some days where he doesn't really want to do it, but that is normal with all of us isn't it? Not wanting to do something on some days. We do it the first time during lunch and the second during supper or right after supper depending on whether we are eating as a family or not. For just a half hour, twice a day and one 45 minute therapy session on Fridays, we sure have come a long way in a year. Thank goodness.
I am just amazed and relieved at how well Connor is doing and how far we have come even in the last few months.
