Another beautiful Saturday to go out on our boat

Steve, Bryce and I took Rick, Mary, Kaitlyn, Ethan and a friend of all of ours, Cherra Crane(she rents a room from Rick and Mary) and we all went out on the boat for about four hours yesterday. It was a gorgeous, sunny and warm day with just the right amount of breeze blowing to keep you from sweating too much. Michael was at a friend's birthday party, Devin stayed home with a babysitter and Connor stayed home with Grandma. The two little one's are too young to take out at this point. We took off from the dock around 11am and went on a nice ride up the intracoastal for awhile and then made our way around to the sandbar. Once again the kids had a great time playing in the water or on the sandbar with buckets and shovels, while us three female's played frisbee or Procadamia (two paddles and a ball) or just hung out on the boat catching some nice sunrays. The guys hung out in the water talking business or swapping stories about this or that. We all had our lunch on the boat that Mary and Rick had picked up for everyone from the Hobe Sound Deli.
No one was ready to leave when we had to. The time flew by so fast. Steve and I had already had plans with two other couples for the evening and Rick and Mary had to get back for two reasons, one their babysitter had her college Junior/Senior banquet that night to get ready for and Rick and Mary were going out to celebrate their anniversary. So the time felt much too short, even though we were gone around 4 hours.
I constantly tell Steve that it is definitely one of the best decisions we have ever made is to buy that boat. We haven't regretted it for a second. Soon I want to get the seats recovered and the name on the side, but for now we are enjoying it just the way it is.
