It's that time of the year again and time for the annual Singing Christmas Tree at Hobe Sound Bible Church. Near the beginning of the program as snow is falling from the ceiling there are little children dressed up as presents, elves, snowflakes, candy canes, Christmas tree's, a big red sleigh carries little kids dressed up, a big Frosty the Snowman and then there are carolers, and that is where we come in with about a half dozen other's. We walk up and down the aisles, smiling, waving and wishing people Merry Christmas and welcoming them to the program, etc. Then we are introduced as the part we are playing and we walk across the platform to bow or curtsey. It is great being at the beginning as we can then enjoy the rest of the program.
We are supposed to look like an old fashioned type of caroler and pretend we are in a winter wonderland, even if we are sweating during the process.
More pictures below.

Bryce is in the angel choir with a lot of the other elementary students and they sing a song with lots of hand motions. Bryce stole the show on Wednesday night without even meaning to. He was jigging the whole time and doing very funny things with his hands. It is hard to explain and something you have to see to enjoy, but needless to say he had most of the crowd laughing and he was clueless. He was in his own little world. I have received many comments or phone calls from people telling me how much they enjoyed it.

This is Bryce's classmate and friend, Sonel. The funniest thing about this picture was after I took it they both begged to see it on my digital camera so I showed them. Sonel says very loudly and emphatically with pure innocence and with kind of a laugh "MAN, I am so BLACK!!" Bryce kind of looked at him trying to figure out what he was saying because Bryce doesn't see anyone as being a different color, which I love! I just said "well, that's ok because Bryce is really white!" and Sonel just looked at me and shrugged and said "yea, he is." and that was that. Too cute!
