A fun way to end Christmas Day

Around 5pm we headed to Rick and Mary's for a fun evening with Rebecca, Chad and Chase Boissevain, friends of both Rick and Mary's and Steve's and mine, and then Liz Estes, Paul and Jen Pedersen and their family came later.
After eating some finger foods, the kids all went to play and the adults sat down and first played a French card game called Mille Bourne's, but the fun really began when we started playing a game called Catch Phrase. You hold a computerized gizmo in your hand, pick a category and then start the beeping timer and you describe the word or phrase showing on the screen without saying any part of the word. The beeping gets faster and faster and if you are left holding the gizmo when the timer goes off, the opposing team gets a point. It was fun and made for many good laughs.
We all finally headed off to our homes around 12:30am and we had two very tired boys, but everyone had a great time.
