Christmas morning we slept in until around 8:30am, then got up, had breakfast, and ready for the day, then we opened our gifts and then Steve spent the next several hours playing with his boys.Bryce is really into building Lego things right now and got several cool Lego sets for Christmas, so soon after opening all the gifts, I found Steve and Bryce hunched over the table in Bryce's room and they were builing some really cool things together. Within a couple hours Bryce appeared to show me a really cool car and helicopter that he and his Daddy had built together. Bryce wants to keep it FOREVER he says.
They all kept busy while Mommy cleaned up from the mess and started putting things back where they belonged. It was a very relaxing and nice Christmas day.
and then with Connor.
Connor's favorite thing to do is sit in the hallway at one end and have someone else sit at the other and push a noisy toy back and forth with him. He could do this for hours if the other person would oblige. Steve did this with him for about an hour until his butt cheeks were to numb to feel any longer. When Steve had enough and would try to get up or lay down, Connor would scamper down the hall to him and push him back down or try to pull him back up, whichever way Steve was at that time. It was cute to watch and Connor was very determined to continue with the fun he was having.It was so sweet of Steve to spend time with both of his boys in this way and it always makes me feel proud to see what a great Daddy he is.
