Around 5pm on Christmas Eve my three sisters and their families and of course my family all gathered at my parents home for supper that my Mom completely prepared and then to open gifts from each other.My Mom prepared her homeade lasagna, salad, and her homeade rolls and pies and then after everyone's stomach's were satisfied, we sat down and opened gifts. Mom gives us money to go buy our families presents at the beginning of December, but on this night we are to bring just two of the gifts per person their money purchased. We then exchange names between the adults and then the younger one's exchange names, so each person has three gifts to open. But still when you have 25 people opening three gifts each it takes awhile. Dad and Mom's house isn't as big so it gets crowded and noisy, but everyone seems to have a good time.
The Christmas Eve tradition is something my Mom started a few years ago and works well for everyone. Thanks Mom for all your hard work to make it a nice evening and Dad for all your help.

3 Weeks ago today, Dan Boyer told me that we were in your gated community for the community wide garage sale day.......didn't see you set up though.....maybe next year????
